Weddings, weddings, weddings, ..... I just love them! I’m lucky enough to be a full-time wedding photographer which means I get to spend the day with two people who are super in love and having the time of their lives, surrounded by the people they care about the most.
I’m taking a wild guess that you’re reading this because you liked each other enough to put a ring on it and you’re now having loads of fun planning your big day. Firstly, CONGRATULATIONS you two! This is such an exciting time in your relationship. Enjoy every minute.
I’ve put lots of information on my website to help you out with your planning but I know you’re really here because you’re looking for a wedding photographer…well, I may be your girl!
I’m based in Lancashire and cover weddings all over the North West - from the Cheshire countryside to the beautiful Lake District. I got bitten by the photography bug when I started taking pictures of my eldest son around 13 years ago. I wanted to remember, and document, every minute of him growing up as I knew that time would fly by. I now have thousands of pictures of him, and his younger brother and I adore every single memory that those photographs bring back.
In fact, memories are what convinced me to take up wedding photography. Not only do I get to spend a wonderful day with my couples but I then get to hand them over a whole heap of photographs that they’ll look back on over the years and each picture will bring back a memory for them.
My style of photography has been honed over the years to take a couple back to their wedding day whenever they look at their photographs. I document the day discreetly, providing couples with natural, beautiful images of all the moments that take place on a wedding day. Moments from the ceremony, the emotion of the speeches and those little glances between the two of you when you think no one is watching. I know how important all the little touches of the day are and how much time you’ve spent planning the look of your day. With that in mind I love spending time getting some styled, fine art influenced images of your table details, your flowers and of course your dress and accessories. At some point in the day I’ll take you both off, away from the festivities, and spend some time getting some gorgeous images of the two of you. This is a lovely chance for you both to spend some time together too!
Before I leave you to have a look around my site I’ve just got one top tip. Don’t be a dick like me! I was an idiot and didn't prioritise photography on my wedding day. I know, I know, you're sat there thinking “Sure Sarah. You’re gonna say that, you want my money” Seriously though please take it from someone who has been there, made the wrong choice and has the photographs to prove it.
