Winter Wedding at Hoghton Tower
It was an absolute honour to be photographer at Hoghton Tower for Brad & Vicki. It was my first time shooting at the venue and I have got to say that I was blown away and cannot wait to go back!
The day started off with me heading to the girls and Michelle heading to hang with the boys... Both preps were full of fun and laughter... maybe with a few nerves thrown in there too. The beauty of having two photographers is that both of you get to see what the other did before that moment you see each other for the first time.
Brad & Vicki's ceremony was bloody lovely... the vicar was hilarious and I think that helped calm everybody's nerves... Once the I do's were done we headed outside for the most manic confetti too I think I've ever seen...! It was 100% the longest tunnel I've ever had to shoot... Brad & Vicki were absolutely covered by the time they got to the end. It made so amazing memories for everyone though.
Guests where whisked to the venue on a big red bus whilst the couple had a few minutes alone in their vintage ride.
Guests enjoyed drinks and canapés in the courtyard whilst music was provided by the Norther String Quartet. We nipped around to the gardens for photos before it was time to go sit & eat! Campbell & Rowley provided the guests with the most delicious three courses (I know it was delicious because we got some too!) and then it was speech time! You might notice the couples triple cake display as you browse photos! That absolute corker of a cake was made by Vicki's Mum! She absolutely smashed it!
Brad & Vicki's guests made sure the evening went down a storm! Ties were around heads before 9pm... My kinda party.
Thanks again to Brad & Vicki for having us with them on their special day.
