“Sarah the photos are absolutely stunning!!! Obsessed with them. Can’t thank you enough! Not only for the gorgeous photos but for being so lovely, you honestly made us feel so at ease and relaxed on the day! (Even Dan 🤣)”
When you think of an elopement you think of a couple, in this case, a bride & groom running away somewhere to get married. That was Hannah & Dan’s dream and they couldn’t have done it at a more stunning location.
Situated on the banks of Lake Windermere, Storrs Hall offers the most gorgeous spot for an outdoor wedding elopement.
Hannah & Dan decided to throw a lot of tradition out of the window for their wedding day, Choosing to spend the night before together and also getting ready together on the morning of their wedding day.
The couple did separate just before their wedding ceremony though so that Dan could be treated to seeing Hannah as a bride for the first time as she joined him at the Lakeside for their ceremony.
The ceremony made a few eyes leak (mine included) and once that was over the three of us went on a little walk to take some pictures to mark the fact that they were now MARRIED!
It really was such a special and intimate day and it was an absolute honour to be there with them on the day.
Hannah’s dress was from Ghost and the couples flowers were provided by Brackens of Bowness
If you’re looking to elope to the Lake District or anywhere for that matter and are still looking for a wedding photographer then give me a shout!
